Skills needed to become Marketing Executive in Myanmar

Marketing Executive helps to develop and promote marketing campaigns. It could be focused on different aspects of digital marketing, copywriting, and even events organisation and PR.

The main accountabilities are:

• Conducting market research for new company campaigns
• Creating and delivering email marketing campaigns
• Communicating all marketing plans and new product launches to clients
• Conducting PR calls, organising events, and helping manage social media accounts

Marketing Executive’s need to be confident, extrovert, and show up excellent interpersonal and social skills. With success in the digital marketing world often dependent on speed to market and time taken to react, creativity and the ability to meet deadlines.

Key skills include:

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Superior organisational skills & Creativity are essential
• The ability to work well under pressure

Qualification
 

Although many Marketing Executives are recent graduates, a degree is not a pre-requisite. However, it is recommended to have some qualifications specific to the industry. A good knowledge of marketing best-practices and the latest developments in the industry will be a distinct advantage. However it is quite rare stil find in in Mzanmar these days.
