Job description
• Ensure efficient operations of the Making and Filling Factory meeting all Key performance Indicators including EOH&S , Quality and Operations (including efficiency, output, cost)
• Management of the Focus Factory Operations Team including Making, Filling, Warehouse
• Ensuring Operations team has the necessary skills and capability (technical, operating, crewing levels) for effective Plant operation through development and implementation of targeted training plans)
o Production manager, team leaders
o Operations team
• Implementation of FP&R standards
• Compliance with EOH&S standards, guidelines and procedures
• Compliance with Quality standards, guidelines and procedures
• Contribute as part of the Site Leadership Team for the effective Site Operation
• Work additional hours where required to ensure the responsibilities of the Area Operations Manager are completed in required timeline
• Monitoring and cost efficient management of the Focus Factory including effective management of
o labour cost, overtime, temporary labour, operating supplies
o reduction of waste and operational losses
• Identify and Implement improvement opportunities that
o improve efficiency
o lower operating costs
o deliver improved EOH&S and Quality
o develop the skills of the team in line with business requirements
• Innovates, develops and improves work system as well as production technologies to enhance moving toward manufacturing excellence.
• Deliver Factory Key Performance Indicators
o Support Production Manager and team to ensure all labour and
materials are in place for effective operation
• Effective management, and coaching of Operations team to deliver Key Performance Indicators including Performance Management of team
• Development of Standard Operating Procedures, Work Instructions and Training Materials
• Implementation and maintaining Housekeeping Standards
• Ensuring effective labour relations and conflict resolution
• Develop and pursue objectives for himself and his team members in line with facility objectives to improve EOHS performance
• Orientation and training to contractors on job safety and loss control with the help of
• Support and campaign for participation of his direct reports/contractors and technicians in all safety initiatives and safety meetings
• Conduct work place inspections, routine plant walk-through on a regular basis
• Campaign for PPE compliance across all engineering and maintenance activities
• Develop job safety analysis for technicians and contractors
• Identify the training needs for team members and provide training with the help of
• Ensure basic GMP norms are followed and facility conditions are maintained.
• Support employee training & development.
• Support & implement projects pertaining to Zero Contamination initiative across the facility.
• Support & implement the Engineering Projects
• Reduce the risk of micro & foreign matter contamination
• Address consumer & customer quality issues

Desired Skills and Expertise
• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (Chemical, Electrical, Mechanical, Mechatronic, etc.).
• Science (Chemical).
• Min 7 Years in Production Experience (Consumer Goods Industry will be advantage).
• Communication Skill.
• Business Presentation Skills.
• Interpersonal Communication Skills, Self-motivated, Possess leadership and Project Management skills.
• Computer Literacy (MS Office, Lotus Notes, SAP).
• Good command of English Communication (both writing and speaking).
• Can work in shift.
