Job description
Job Purpose
• The goal of an internship is to apply knowledge acquired in the classroom to real world situations, as well as gain the skills and experience that is necessary to prepare the student for a successful career.
• Green Vision is in the process of modernizing its accounting system, moving from Excel Books to Integrated Financial Management and Accounting Software within an ERP System (Enterprise Resource Planning System).
• The purpose of the Business & Accounting Intern is to support the Business Director in the implementation and the rollout of the Company’s ERP, for the accounting module and linked applications.

Main Duties & Responsibilities

• Ensure data entry in the ERP of accounting related data including but not limited to: Chart of Account, Journal
Items and Journal Entries…
• Ensure mapping of Excel based GL listings for past periods: input new account codes compatible with the ERP
requirements against transactions to replace old account codes; include analytic account(s) for each transaction according to the Chart of Analytic Account;
• Support the accounting department and the Business Director in the tasks below, aiming at operationalizing the
ERP system:

• Assist with gathering back up support and preparing of Journal Entries;
• Assist in performing account reconciliations;
• Assist with setting up and configure appropriate Journals and Reports in the ERP system;
• Assist with implementing the ERP payroll functionality in collaboration with HR Manager;
• Assist in understanding the Accounting application of the ERP system and all its various functionalities, including but not limited to performing testing and documentation

• Create process flow documentation of the new ERP that will be integrated into the ‘ERP Accounting User’s Manual’;
• Support communication between the Accounting Department and the Business Director
• Feedback the Business Director on any issue and proposed adequate solutions;
• Translate Myanmar to English and English to Myanmar as / when requested, oral or in writing;
• Any other punctual tasks as required by either the Accounting Department or the Business Director.
