Job description
• Understanding manpower recruitment from each business department
• Creating job descriptions and getting them approved by the responsible manager
• Sourcing candidates that match the desired skills
• Screening candidates by conducting telephone or face to face interviews
• Arrange and book technical interviews with candidates and respective manager
• Communicating with all applicants about their application status, job offers and rejections.
• Maintain and update a candidate database
• Reference check or verify background of shortlisted candidates

Desired Skills and Expertise
Induction and On-boarding
• When a particular candidate is finalized and selection – provide them with an offer letter and employment contract.
• Ensure all employees are registered with the Labour office and all paperwork is up to date.
• Provide new candidates with a company description, profile and information about policies and procedures.
• For new employees, file relevant documentation, introduce them to their team and
ensure that IT are notified so that passwords and equipment can be provided.
HR Policies and HR Manual
• If the company does not have a HR Manual – draft one for the company
• Make and amend existing policies and procedures and ensure they remain up to date.


Attendance and Leave Records
• Keeping track of the attendance of employees
• Filing the leave forms and keeping track of leave taken
• Seeing to it that there is a low level of absenteeism.
