Recognition globally.Focus Star ventured into Automotive Repairs and Detailing business in 2017, bringing the very first
specialist and state of the art facility from Singapore and started Optima Werkz Yangon and in 2018.
2018 saw Focus Star diversifying into packaged water distribution and launched WavePlus. Initially
launched and distributed in Yangon and in Mandalay, Focus Star plan to distribute and make the
packaged water available all over Myanmar.We began in Yangon as Central Myanmar in 1974 when we began in Shipping Services, as an agent,
freight handler, import – exporter and later on specializing in importing motor vehicles and high-speed
diesel. In 2007 we helped import super specialty cars and high-end luxury cars. It was then the name
was changed to Focus Star Company Limited.
With our Vision and Values, and led by the people who manage our business, we are stepping into our
Future. In 2007 we entered into a distributor agreement with Japan Tobacco International and started
distributing its products across Myanmar. Today we are present across the length and breadth of
Myanmar and in over 21 towns Focus Star is over 300 people strong and growing. We are head quartered in Yangon and have a regional
office in Mandalay. We are adding many more services and products into our portfolio and aim to be a
leading business house in the new and emerging Myanmar.
