.Speak Up uses a management system which allows every single student to have his/her own learning schedule. They can book any classes that suit their free time and cancel it when busy and receive a make-up later. This means for busy working adults they will not miss any lessons which affect the training quality. Also they can learn English at anytime, anywhere all over the world as long as there is internet connection for multimedia lessons (MML).

And because the MML helps students gain more knowledge about the language/structure/pronunciation etc. they have more chance to practice English in teacher led classes. “Practice makes perfect”. That’s why Speak Up students have been very happy with the method for over the past 15 years and makes this unique method become the most successful in Europe. We will have 50-50 foreign - Myanmar teachers: the higher level the more ratio of foreign teacher will be allocated. Moreover, there is a quite good sales and marketing process having been developed for over 15 years and finally we are trained to do it.

Job description
• Operation Coordination: arrange working schedule of all academic staff to ensure all daily services of Speak UP Myanmar (SUM) run smoothly and meet the required standards. Support Centre Manager in scheduling of classes for students and instructional staff.
• Feedback Handling: receive customers’ feedback, investigate the validity of the feedback and coordinate the solution with related parties.
• Recruitment: estimate the needed headcount based on the need of operation, the approved budget and the development target of the center. Coordinate with HR and Academic Director (and his or her designee) to conduct recruitment process professionally and effectively.
• Professional Development: evaluate staff performance on weekly/monthly/yearly basis in order to have necessary Development Plan for each person.
• Quality Control: monitor, train and develop the quality of teaching and services provided (including training new staff and native teachers). Set up efficient working procedures among staff and between Academic and Sale Team. Develop and suggest ways to enhance the quality of SUM’s product to Academic Director. Train all new Myanmar teaching staff, Personal Mentors and Native English Teachers when assigned.
• KPI evaluation: train and coach staff on how to utilize the KPI to maximize result. Develop suitable practical & strategic plans to achieve the target.
• Curriculum Development: collaborate with Regional office (Vietnam) in reviewing, updating, creating and developing Speak UP curriculum and/or products. Plan, implement, and evaluate course contents
• Teaching – Conduct classes, workshops, and events (both for teachers and students)
• Budget Management – Manage scheduling for both students and teachers; Maximize the use of existing manpower to ensure efficient and effective use of human and capital resources; Manage staff leaves effectively and efficiently
• Quality Control – Conduct quality control of all teaching staff with efficiency, effectiveness, and evidence of data.
• Other Tasks – Perform tasks when assigned and communicate with stakeholders.
Desired Skills and Expertise
• Bachelor degree level or above in English, Management or related major.
• Relevant professional qualifications, ESL Teacher Training Certification – TESOL, TEFL, CELTA etc. (prefer CELTA or TESOL)
• Professional training & coaching experiences.
• At least 3 years of management experience in educational fields.
• Experience in teaching communication courses for adults.
• Experience of curriculum development an advantage
• Customer-centric attitude.
• Well-developed presentation, teaching and communication skills.
• Advanced Proficiency in English, minimum of IELTS level 6 preferred.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), Email.
