Apple မွ ဖန္တီးလွ်က္ရွိေသာ ပထမဦးဆုံး ARM ကိုအေျခခံထားသည့္ ကြန္ျပဴတာ chip “M1”

Apple မွ ဖန္တီးတည္ေဆာက္လွ်က္ရွိေသာ ပထမဦးဆုံး ARM ကိုအေျခခံထားသည့္ ကြန္ျပဴတာ chip M1 ကို Apple ရဲ႕ “One More Thing” event တြင္ထုတ္ျပန္ေၾကျငာေပးခဲ့ပါတယ္။ အဆိုပါ chip ဟာ Apple မွ သူတို႔ရဲ႕ “ေနာက္မ်ိဳးဆက္သစ္ Mac” မ်ားအတြက္ တည္ေဆာက္လွ်က္ရွိေသာ ေနာက္ဆုံးထြက္ရွိလာမည့္ chip တစ္ခုျဖစ္ကာ ေအာက္ပါအခ်က္မ်ားဟာေတာ့ အဆိုပါ event အတြင္း ေၾကျငာေပးခဲ့ေသာ အခ်က္မ်ားပဲျဖစ္ပါတယ္။

M1 chip ဟာ 5nm processor အေပၚအေျခခံ၍ transistor ေပါင္း 16 ဘီလ်ံခန႔္ျဖင့္ တည္ေဆာက္ထားေသာ ပထမဦးဆုံး ကြန္ျပဴတာ chip တစ္ခုပဲျဖစ္ပါတယ္။ အဆိုပါ chip ကို Apple ရဲ႕ lower-power system မ်ားတြင္ အေသးငယ္ဆုံးေသာအ႐ြယ္အစားျဖင့္ အျမင့္မားဆုံးေသာစြမ္းေဆာင္ရည္ ရရွိႏိုင္ရန္အတြက္ အထူးျပဳလုပ္ထားတာျဖစ္ပါတယ္။ CPU အတြင္းတြင္ performance core ၄ ခုႏွင့္ efficiency core ၄ ခု တို႔ပါဝင္ၿပီး Apple ရဲ႕အဆိုအရ အဆိုပါ chip ဟာ watt တစ္ခုစီအတြက္ အျမင့္မားဆုံးေသာ CPU performance ကိုထုတ္ေပးႏိုင္စြမ္းရွိၿပီး efficiency core ၄ ခုတည္းျဖင့္ပင္ ယခင္ထြက္ရွိထားခဲ့ေသာ dual-core MacBook Air ၏ စြမ္းေဆာင္ရည္ႏွင့္ ႏႈိင္းယွဥ္၍ရႏိုင္ၿပီး power သုံးစြဲမႈႏႈန္းအားလည္း ပိုမို၍နည္းပါးခဲ့တယ္ ဟူ၍ သိရွိခဲ့ရပါတယ္။

GPU တြင္ Core ၈ ခုပါဝင္ၿပီး 2.6 teraflops အထိ process ျပဳလုပ္ႏိုင္စြမ္းရွိပါတယ္။ GPU တြင္ 16-core neural engine ပါဝင္ၿပီး 11 trillion processes per second အထိ လုပ္ေဆာင္ႏိုင္စြမ္းရွိေနပါတယ္။ “ယခင္မ်ိဳးဆက္ Mac” မ်ားႏွင့္ ႏႈိင္းယွဥ္လိုက္ပါက Apple ရဲ႕အဆိုအရ M1 ဟာ CPU performance ၃.၅ ဆပိုမိုျမန္ဆန္ၿပီး၊ GPU performance အရ ၆ ဆခန႔္ ပိုမိုျမန္ဆန္မွာျဖစ္ၿပီး Machine learning တြင္ ၁၅ ဆခန႔္ ပိုမိုျမန္ဆန္လာမွာျဖစ္ပါတယ္ဟူ၍ ဆိုထားခဲ့ပါတယ္။
