What is it you need to become Market Research Analyst.

Market Research Analysts (MRA)put together information and read the market conditions to evaluate the sales potential of a certain product or service. MRA help to understand what customers like to buy, what they are looking for and need. At the same time they help to figure out  why they need it, in addition to comparing the services of other competitors.

Main accountabilities for a Market Researcher are:

• Meet with clients to go over the information they want to look for
• Gathering and analyzing data and statistics and discovering models
• Uses survey data to predict customer habits.
• Writing detailed reports and presenting recommendations based on findings

Is that a job for you?

One has to have to have great interpersonal, writing, and communication skills.  Market Research Analysts also always are very good at their critical thinking and creativity.

Great market analysts have:

• Strong analytical thinking and excellent problem solving skills
• Feel in their element giving strong presentations
• Detailed oriented
• Have a genuine interest in studying our everyday habits and patterns

Qualifications

Although sometimes a specific degree is required to become a market researcher, a strong background in business marketing and/or statistics is highly recommended.
