Reuters သတင္းဌာနရဲ႕အဆိုအရ - အေမရိကန္ chip ကုမၸဏီႀကီးတစ္ခုျဖစ္တဲ့ Nvidia က သူတို႔ဟာ ၿဗိတိန္ရဲ႕ စြမ္းအားအေကာင္းဆုံး supercomputer တစ္လုံးကို တည္ေဆာက္လွ်က္ရွိတယ္လို႔ေျပာၾကားသြားခဲ့ပါတယ္။ ထိုအရာက artificial intelligence ကိုအသုံးျပဳကာ သုေသသနပညာရွင္မ်ားကို COVID-19 ကိစၥအပါအဝင္ ခက္ခဲတဲ့ ေဆးပညာရပ္ဆိုင္ရာ စိန္ေခၚမႈေတြကိုကူညီေျဖရွင္းေပးသြားႏိုင္လိမ့္မယ္လို႔ သိရွိရပါတယ္။ COVID-19 virus ကာကြယ္ေဆးထုတ္လုပ္ဖို႔ ႀကိဳးပမ္းလွ်က္ရွိတဲ့ ေဆးကုမၸဏီ ၂ခုျဖစ္တဲ့ GSK နဲ႔ AstraZeneca တို႔ဟာေတာ့ အဆိုပါ supercomputer ကို ပထမဦးဆုံးအသုံးခ်ခြင့္ရမယ့္ ေဆးကုမၸဏီ ၂ ခုျဖစ္လာႏိုင္ဖြယ္ရွိေနပါတယ္။ 

အဆိုပါ Cambridge-1 ကြန္ျပဴတာကို ဒီႏွစ္အကုန္ခန႔္တြင္ ၿဗိတိန္ႏိုင္ငံ၊ Cambridge ျပည္နယ္တြင္ စတင္၍ အသုံးျပဳႏိုင္ေတာ့မွာျဖစ္ၿပီး 400 petaflops AI performance ကို ေပးစြမ္းႏိုင္တဲ့ NVIDIA DGX SuperPOD system အသုံးျပဳထားပါတယ္ဟူ၍ Nvidia က ၿပီးခဲ့တဲ့တနလၤာေန႔က ေျပာၾကားသြားခဲ့ပါတယ္။ 

Nvidia ကိုတည္ေထာင္သူနဲ႔ CEO ျဖစ္သူ Jensen Huang က သူ႔ရဲ႕ GPU Technology Conference တြင္ မိန႔္ခြန္းအေနနဲ႔ေျပာၾကားခဲ့ရာတြင္ “ဒီ Cambridge-1 supercomputer ဟာ ၿဗိတိန္ႏိုင္ငံရဲ႕ တီထြင္ဆန္းသစ္မႈ မ်ားအတြက္ အခ်က္အျခာက်တဲ့ေနရာတစ္ခုအေနနဲ႔ ေဆာင္႐ြက္ေပးႏိုင္မွာျဖစ္ၿပီး ႏိုင္ငံအတြင္းရွိ အေရးပါတဲ့ က်န္းမာေရးနဲ႔ ေဆးဝါးရွာေဖြ သုေသသနပညာရွင္မ်ားအတြက္ ပိုမို၍အလုပ္ၿပီးေျမာက္မႈေတြ ရွိလာေစမွာျဖစ္ပါ တယ္” ဟူ၍ ေျပာၾကားသြားခဲ့ပါတယ္။
