Oppo is developing its own SoC for flagship mobile phones

၎တို႔ရဲ႕ flagship mobile ဖုန္းမ်ားအတြက္ Oppo မွ ကိုယ္ပိုင္ SoC ကို ထုတ္လုပ္ႏိုင္ရန္ ႀကိဳးပမ္းလွ်က္ရွိေန

Oppo ဟာ ၎တို႔ရဲ႕ flagship mobile phone မ်ားအတြက္ ကိုယ္ပိုင္ high-end chip မ်ားကို တည္ေဆာက္လွ်က္ရွိေနၿပီျဖစ္ေၾကာင္း Nikkei Asia မွ သတင္းတစ္ပုဒ္အရ သိရွိရပါတယ္။ Nikkei သို႔ သတင္းေပးပို႔ခဲ့သူ ၂ ဦးရဲ႕ ေျပာၾကားခ်က္အရ Oppo မွ “speed of development အေပၚမူတည္၍” 2023 ႏွင့္ 2024 ခုႏွစ္အတြင္း custom SoC မ်ားကို စတင္ထုတ္လုပ္သြားဖို႔ရွိေနေၾကာင္း သိရွိရပါတယ္။

အကယ္၍ လက္ေတြ႕တြင္ အဆိုပါအစီအစဥ္ကို အေကာင္အထည္ေဖာ္ႏိုင္ခဲ့ပါက Oppo ဟာ ၎တို႔ရဲ႕ကိုယ္ပိုင္ SoC design ကို ေရးဆြဲ၍ထုတ္လုပ္ႏိုင္စြမ္းရွိတဲ့ စမတ္ဖုန္းထုတ္လုပ္မႈကုမၸဏီႀကီးတစ္ခုျဖစ္လာမွာျဖစ္ပါတယ္။ ၿပီးခဲ့တဲ့ ရက္အနည္းငယ္ကလည္း Google ဟာ Pixel 6 ႏွင့္ 6 Pro တို႔ကို Tensor လို႔အမည္ေပးထားတဲ့ ၎တို႔ရဲ႕ကိုယ္ပိုင္ custom SoCျဖင့္ စတင္ launch ျပဳလုပ္၍ ေရာင္းခ်ခဲ့ပါေသးတယ္။

လက္ရွိတြင္ေတာ့ Oppo ဟာ အျခားေသာ Huwaei ႏွင့္ တ႐ုတ္ smartphone ထုတ္လုပ္မႈကုမၸဏီမ်ားနည္းတူ Qualcomm နဲ႔ MediaTek တို႔ထံမွ chip မ်ားကို မွာယူသုံးစြဲေနဆဲပဲျဖစ္ပါတယ္။
