WhatsApp တြင္ ဘာေတြျဖစ္ေနသလဲ? 

ဒီအရာဟာ လုပ္ႀကံဇာတ္လမ္းမ်ား၊ သတင္းအမွားမ်ားနဲ႔ လွည့္ဖ်ားမႈမ်ားျဖစ္ပြားရာ ေနရာတစ္ခုျဖစ္ ေနရပါသလဲ? 

Encryption မ်ားဟာ content မ်ားကို ေစာင့္ၾကည့္ႏိုင္ရန္နဲ႔/ ေစာင့္ၾကည့္မႈမျပဳႏိုင္ရန္ မည့္သည့္ အခန္းက႑မွ ပါဝင္ေနပါသလဲ? What’s wrong with WhatsApp ဆိုတဲ့ ေဆာင္းပါးတြင္ပါဝင္တဲ့ မ်ားစြာေသာ ေမးခြန္းမ်ားဟာ လက္ရွိအခ်ိန္ထိေျဖၾကားမယ့္သူမရွိေသးပါေသာ္လည္း တစ္ခါတစ္ရံ တြင္ ဒါဟာ နားလည္မႈလြဲမွားျခင္းတစ္ရပ္လည္းျဖစ္ႏိုင္ပါတယ္။ WhatsApp ဟာ သတင္းအခ်က္ အလက္ဖလွယ္ၿပီး ေျပာဆိုဆက္သြယ္မႈျပဳလုပ္ရန္ tool တစ္ခုမွ်သာျဖစ္ၿပီး e-mail မ်ားထက္ လုပ္ေဆာင္ခ်က္အနည္းငယ္သာ သာတဲ့အရာျဖစ္ပါတယ္။ အဆုံးသတ္တြင္ ဒီ encryption ဟာ Facebook မွ “Closed Groups“ မ်ားအတြင္း ဘာေတြျဖစ္ပြားေနသလဲဆိုတာကိုေစာင့္ၾကည့္ျခင္း ကိုေတာင္မွ မတားဆီးႏိုင္ပါဘူး။ Facebook ဟာ encryption key မ်ားကိုပိုင္ဆိုင္ထားၿပီး သူတို႔ရဲ႕ application ဟာ ဘယ္သူမဆိုေပးပို႔လိုက္တဲ့ အရာတိုင္းကိုဝင္ေရာက္ၾကည့္ရႈႏိုင္ပါတယ္။ ဒါေပ မယ့္ ထိုေဆာင္းပါးကိုဖတ္ရႈရျခင္းဟာ ရွည္လွ်ားၿပီး လြန္စြာေကာင္းတဲ့အရာမ်ားပါဝင္ေနပါတယ္။ 

WhatsApp ကို ၂၀၁၄ ခုႏွစ္တြင္ Facebook မွ ေဒၚလာ ၁၉ဘီလ်ံျဖင့္ ဝယ္ယူၿပီးေနာက္တြင္ ဒီအရာ က သမိုင္းတေလွ်ာက္ ေဈးအႀကီးဆုံးနည္းပညာဝယ္ယူမႈတစ္ရပ္ျဖစ္လာပါတယ္။ ဒီအခ်ိန္မွာ WhatsApp ဟာ သူတို႔ရဲ႕ app ကို အသုံးျပဳေနသူေပါင္း သန္း ၄၅၀ ခန႔္ကိုပါေဆာင္ၾကဥ္းလာခဲ့ပါ တယ္။ ဒီႏွစ္ေဖေဖာ္ဝါရီလတြင္ ၎ဟာ ကမာၻတစ္လႊားအသုံးျပဳသူေပါင္း ၂ဘီလ်ံရွိခဲ့ၿပီျဖစ္ကာ ဒါ က ကို႐ိုနာဗိုင္းရပ္စ္ေၾကာင့္ lockdown မ်ား မျပဳလုပ္မွီအခ်ိန္ကျဖစ္ၿပီး ဒီအရာဟာ သူတို႔ကို လက္ရွိအခ်ိန္အထိ လူသုံးအမ်ားဆုံး messenger app တစ္ခုျဖစ္လာေစၿပီး Facebook ၿပီးလွ်င္ ဒုတိယလူသုံးအမ်ားဆုံး app တစ္ခုလည္းျဖစ္လာေစပါတယ္။ မ်ားစြာေသာႏိုင္ငံမ်ားတြင္ ယခုအခါ ဒီအရာကပုံမွန္အသုံးျပဳေနက် digital communication နဲ႔ social coordination ဆိုင္ရာနည္းလမ္း ျဖစ္လာၿပီး အထူးသျဖင့္ လူငယ္မ်ားအၾကားတြင္ ေခတ္စားေနလွ်က္ရွိပါတယ္။
