A pivotal decision regarding diversification of business was made .Though the food industry was the upbringing of the Company, it decided to venture into other industries. In 2000, the company set up a paper mill under the name “Nilar Paper Mill” which produces recycled paper for the local market. International trading was at its boom during 2000’s, Nilar Company decided to follow the trend and registered itself under “Nilar Star International Co. Ltd”. The company entered into export & import trading business with a wide range of products right from car parts, iron for construction to consumer products.
