Job description
• Acts as a single point of the contact for HODs, Line Managers and employees in the Bank on all HR-related matters.
• To establish and develop close working relationship with HODs, Line Managers and employees to understand the key resource/people needs and issues and associated requirements to meet both current and future organization/departments/branches needs.
• Helps the departments/branches to appreciate and understand the policies and processes that support the Bank’s People strategy and objectives.
• Provides guidance and support to HODs and Line Managers in the implementation of HR initiatives across the Bank; ensures successes and effectiveness in the said implementations
• Drive people excellence agenda across the Bank in attracting, managing and developing talent to support the current and future organizational needs.
• Work closely with HODs, Line Managers and employees to ensure the HR policies and tools are aligned with the Bank’s overall objectives, able to enhance employee engagement and ultimately improve performance.
• Tracks and monitors implementation of HR initiatives by using data and analytics to measure the effectiveness of tools and policies and understand the landscape for further improvements.
• Provide expert input across a range of HR issues (generalist / specific expertise)
• Participate in relevant projects, may lead and champion as appropriate the Bank’s HR vision and aspiration to become the employer of choice.
• Keep up-to-date with external HR trends and best practices
• Continuously drive performance improvements in the use of HR tools and policies through external market trends, insights and best practices.
• To undertake any other duties as required to meet the needs of the business

Desired Skills and Expertise
• At least a Bachelor’s degree , Diploma in HRM/ HRD will be an advantage
• Good understanding of the Bank’s business
• Able to communicate and present sound and well-reasoned arguments to effectively influence a variety of stakeholders
• Able to adapt and work effectively with a variety of situations and individuals or groups.
• Must be able to maintain personal effectiveness by managing own emotions in the face of work volume, pressure, set-backs or when dealing with provocative situations and challenging people
• Analytical and conceptual – must be able to simplify complex problems, processes or projects into component parts, explore and evaluate them systematically for decision making and problem-solving.
• Proficient in English Language (written & spoken)
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel and Power Point
