Fiber Design & Planning Manager / Senior Manager

• To lead all fiber design and planning activities. Which cover the new build, customer connections and Network Improvement/upgrades by focusing on the FTTx, DIA and Wi-Fi uplink network design.
• To manage internal and third party teams to produce high quality designs of FTTx and B2B networks of underground and aerial fiber networks in the Myanmar.
• Manage project demand and resources to ensure deliverables are tracked and completed on or before agreeing timeline.
• Report on the ongoing project to Department Head and COO.

• 5+ years of experience of Myanmar Telecom company and have the experience about the fiber Network, fiber design, including detailed knowledge of their planning guidelines and ways of working on GPON, FTTX and Wi-Fi networks;
• 3+ years of design experience and usage of design, survey & inventory applications, e.g. Google Map, GIS, AutoCAD, Network Engineering tools. etc;
• Excellent knowledge of FTTx topology
• Good network within the Myanmar fiber services industry – Material suppliers, subcontractors and customers;
• Extensive experience with Permit drafting/drawings, High Level Design (Nominal Design), Low Level Design (Detailed Design) and As–Built Engineering;
• Solid understanding of OSP network design key drivers the cost reduction in OSP network roll outs;
• Good understanding of construction techniques & Bill of Materials (BoM).
