Job description
• Plan concepts by studying relevant information and material
• Ilustrate concepts by designing examples of art arrangement, size, type size and style and submitting them for approval
• Think creatively to produce new ideas and concepts and developing interactive design
• Design different communications materials including annual report, logos, program briefs, fliers, fact sheets, banners,
• Create infographics and illustrations for social media content
• Use the appropriate colors and layout for each graphic.
• Develop visually appealing and brand-aligned external marketing materials for all programmes that have requested it.
Campaigns and Events
• Support Save the Children's camapaigns, internal and external events by designing necessary communication materials

Program Relations and Brand Management
• Communicate with program teams about layout and design
• Coordinate with Logistics and Procurement team to get quality printing products
• Review designs for errors before printing or publishing them
• Ensure all materials are printed and designed according to Save the Children’s brand guidelines 

• Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed

Child Safeguarding Responsibilities
• Develop and pilot practical day-to-day approaches to increase awareness, commitment and interest in child safeguarding amongst support services staff.

Desired Skills and Expertise
• At least 3 years’ experience in related field.
• Required: Bachelor Degree.
• Good English communication skills to interact with international staff.
• Demonstrable graphic design skills with a strong portfolio
• Proficiency with required desktop publishing tools including Adobe Phototshop, Adobe Indesign, and Adobe Illustrator
• A strong eye for visual composition
• Able to give and receive constructive criticism
• Excellent personal organisational skills, including time management, and ability to meet deadlines and work under pressure.
• Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues across the organisation developing effective working relationships to deliver outstanding results for children.
• Willingness and capability to comply with all relevant Save the Children policies and procedures with respect to health and safety, security, equal opportunities and other relevant policies, including the Child Safeguarding Policy.
• A proactive attitude with the ability to work independently, manage and prioritise and unpredictable workload and solve problems quickly, with limited support at times
• The capacity and willingness to be flexible and accommodating in challenging working circumstances
• Commitment to and understanding of Save the Children’s aims, values and principles.
