Job description
• To model strong Safety Leadership, excellent work practices and attitude in the work place.
• Be able to quickly and efficiently source Mechanical and Electrical spare parts for the Manufacturing team.
• Identify and procure long lead time spare parts for the Manufacturing team.
• To identify technically competent suppliers who can effectively carry out the required refurbishment.
• To assemble the correct technical specifications and drawings ensuring equipment is rebuilt with the required precision.
• To audit our identified competent suppliers where the critical of the equipment demands so.
• To investigate equipment failures to identify root cause implementing counter measures for future failures.
• To Develop and Maintain JMM’s maintenance management system for spare parts and bill of materials for adhoc and standard work.
• Develop and maintain standard documents for repeat refurbishments.
• Advance prepare spare parts and refurbished components as part of the short and long term shutdown process.
• Participate in Shutdown Planning & Supervision as required.
• JMM will utilize a zero based approach to the budget process. Input spare parts and refurbishment requirements into the short term (1-3 year) and Long term (3-6 year) budgets.
• Intellectual Property (IP) is well detailed in employment contracts and it is of the utmost importance that you play a proactive and enthusiastic role to ensure JFE Meranti does not disclose IP.

Desired Skills and Expertise
• Bachelor Degree in Mechanical Engineering or Mechanical GTS.
• Prefer 2-5 years of experience in industry.
• Female candidates are welcome to apply.
• Strong ability to multi-task and prioritize multiple tasks.
• Strong ability to source from both Myanmar and Overseas companies.
• Strong ability to communicate with a workforce in both English and Myanmar language.
• Proactive, well organized and continuously striving for an exciting efficient approach.
