Job description

1. Attend curriculum explanation session with class teacher, set learning goals for the children from the activities and prepare the lesson materials, bulletin board, displays, equipment and demonstration.
2. Maintain daily record of the students, track the children’s progress and intervene to achieve the progress as necessary with the help from class teacher.
3. Ensure the classroom environment meets standards for safety and cleanliness.
4. Regularly communicate with family members and other staff to meet the individual needs of the children.
5. Be a substitute class teacher when the class teacher is away or absent.
6. Promote children’s physical and emotional wellbeing by being a good role model.
7. Active participation in school events, parent-teacher meeting, party and marketing activities.
8. Comply with the school policy and procedure.
9. Organize and label materials and display children’s artwork in a manner appropriate for their eye levels and perceptual skills.
10. Take responsibility to greet the children and assist in school bus loading and unloading.
11. Take other assigned task directed by class teacher when it is necessary.

1. To closely supervise the students and provide learning support and guidance to support their developments. (Cognitive, social, emotional, physical, language and moral development).
2. Enforce school and classroom rules to help the children to gain positive behavior.
3. Provide stimulating environment and promote children wellbeing.
4. Ensure to provide quality of care which has impact on children’s safety and families’ satisfaction.

Desired Skills and Expertise

1. Any bachelor’s degree holder with ECCD certificate or any equivalent certification in early childhood education and care.
2. First Aid certificate
3. Ability to speak English very fluently and able to write well.
4. Good command of MS word and excel.
5. Willingness to peruse further study and intensive training.
Health and Physical Demands
1. Clear of infectious diseases
2. no spinal injuries and heart disease
3. Good mental and physical healt
. Able to provide medical clearance certificate.
