Procurement Assistant

• Raise quotation requests (RFQ), (RFI), (RFP) to source and evaluate vendor offers in terms of quality, cost and delivery
• Deal with Main Office to deliver materials to factory
• Arrange delivery of materials in time with suppliers as required
• Prepare & Maintain the vendor specification into the project save drive
• Assist to Manager & Supervisor for all price’s comparisons and vendor
• Troubleshoot any problems in supplier supplies
• Liaise with Project team, Commercial & Clients for material inspection at store / site
• Issue the PO and deal with finance department & management for all payments
• Update procurement tracker and daily reports in timely manner
• Follow up the suppliers/vendors through payment’s terms & condition, delivery term to meet shipment schedule / delivery schedule as per requirement for the project
• Research the new and existing supplier/ vendor which is correspondence with the company requirements from local and oversea
• Keep track on current market situations and competitor’s activities
• Assist to Manager to develop the Procurement Plans and Strategies based on sourcing needs, cost reduction and standard product quality
• Other duties & responsibilities assign by senior management & Manager

• AGTI / B. Tech, / BE (Mechanical) or any other bachelor degree with Mechanical Engineering Background
• English proficiency and have good knowledge of construction materials
• Great knowledge in procurement methods relating to construction projects
• A minimum of 3 to 5 years post qualification, experience in similar role
• Ability to multi-task and engage multiple customers and suppliers
• Good communications kill and talent in networking
• Well-developed computer skills and good knowledge in AutoCAD
• Good team-work player with sense responsibility
