One quarter of Myanmar’s estimated 55 million people live on less than $2 per day. The United Nations Development Programme Human Development Index ranked Myanmar as 149 out of 186 countries in 2013. The health sector has yet to catch up to the rapidly expanding economy. Total health spending from all sources is less than 2.5 percent of the Gross Domestic Product. However, matters are changing drastically; a market economy and broad government reforms are emerging since the 2011 transition to a civilian government.

Its work addresses the largest contributors to Myanmar’s burden of disease: HIV, tuberculosis, malaria, pneumonia, diarrhea, reproductive and maternal health. It also works in reproductive health matters.PSI provides primary health services in 210 townships through its Sun Quality Health franchise network. The network is comprised of more than 1,500 private medical doctors that PSI/Myanmar trains and monitors on reproductive health services as well as treatment for malaria, tuberculosis, pneumonia, diarrhea, HIV and sexually transmitted infections. In addition, PSI supports the Sun Primary Health network of more than 2,000 village health workers.

• Closely coordinated with Sales Manager and other counterparts in planning, implementing, supervising and monitoring of sales activities in assigned area.
• Prepare monthly work plan and monthly budget for cash requirements.
• Closely supervise day-to-day sales activities of sales representatives. Seek efficiencies in their operations while ensuring that they have the necessary resources to perform.
• Monitor inventory levels of stock and promotional items. Place timely orders for replenishment.
• Monitor, evaluate and oversee the activities and performance of the sales team to achieve the sales target and objectives.
• Review and evaluate of current selling and distributing systems to ensure that they remain effective and efficient to meet the dynamics of the market.
• Check and keep records of sales volume, new outlets creation, product display etc., and the overall performance of Sales Representatives.
• Train / coach sales staff to constantly improve their selling and merchandising skills and update product knowledge and technical information.
• Provide feedback, support and coaching to the sales team and merchandising skills and update product knowledge and technical information.
• Investigate lost sales and customer accounts, track, collate and interpret sales figures.
• Collect and analyze data relevant to the market. This includes feedback and information on pricing, availability and consumer preferences.

• Must be university graduate with business degree or marketing related degree
• Must have Computer knowledge in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint
• Must have relevant experience and should have conceptual knowledge of commercial sales approaches
• Must have good knowledge of the principles of sales techniques in general and particularly in the context of Myanmar.
• Should be organized, systematic and dynamic, and must interact well with others.
