Earth Trading Company Profile Earth Trading is one of the divisions of Earth Group of Companies in Myanmar. The Company is the sole distributor and authorized agent for Lion products. Earth Trading Company is started in 1993 with Lion products’ Tonic Shampoo and PAO detergent. Within two years, the Company expanded and became well known for its products. The Company added new products from Lion (Thailand) Co., Ltd’s personal and baby care products. In 20 years, the Company has annual turnover of more than USD 3 million. Currently, Earth Trading is distributing Lion’s consumer products such as oral care, baby care, personal care, and fabric care and detergent. Beside Lion products, the Company is acting as a sole distributor for Pantai cooking sauce and Toshiba disposable battery. In 2014, the Company starts its long term plan to expand baby care sector by adding Enfant diaper and KiriKiri mosquito repellent sticker from Thailand. Now, the Company has 4 branch offices throughout Myanmar, with the distribution network of 30,000 outlets. Earth Trading established Mandalay branch in year 2000 to cover Upper Myanmar market. With MyintKyiNar Branch and MoneWyar branch, Earth Trading is distributing almost all the areas in Upper Myanmar. The Company is also planning to expand more in the future and set up branch offices in lower part of Myanmar. The Company uses different means of transportations to distribute throughout Myanmar. For Upper Myanmar, train and trucks are the major methods to carry the products to different cities. However, for Mandalay and Taung Gyi cities areas, salesmen use electrical bikes to collect orders from outlets. For Yangon and Lower Myanmar, trucks and vans are the main ways of transportation and carrying.
