Job description
1 Transportation – Site Coordinator
• Corporate Unit: Schenker (Thai) Ltd.
• Location: Myanmar office
• Reporting to: Transportation Manager, Route Planner & CS Executive
• Staff Responsibility: Labors and Drivers
2 General Description
This position is responsible to ensure smooth operational functions with different transporters on site
3 Specific Accountabilities
• Receive orders via phone and email and prepare route plans and schedule with Transporters.
• Track and trace truck movements to ensure availability, estimate loading dates and transit times, schedule for future orders.
• Assist line managers in ensuring that all activities are being performed in accordance with both Schenker and Customers’ policies.
• Supervise the work of each temporary workforce member to ensure that they are working under our requirements.
• Promote safe work practices with labor, drivers and transporters.
• Report to customer service executive and route planner for milestone update.
• Perform other duties as assign by the management from time to time

Desired Skills and Expertise
• Computer literacy (MS Excel, Words, email)
• Problem solving skills
• Good team player
• Work well under pressure
• Bachelor degree
• 2-3 years of experience in transportation field specially nationwide
• Good command of English both writing and speaking
