However, matters are changing drastically; a market economy and broad government reforms are emerging since the 2011 transition to a civilian government.

Its work addresses the largest contributors to Myanmar’s burden of disease: HIV, tuberculosis, malaria, pneumonia, diarrhea, reproductive and maternal health. It also works in reproductive health matters.PSI provides primary health services in 210 townships through its Sun Quality Health franchise network. The network is comprised of more than 1,500 private medical doctors that PSI/Myanmar trains and monitors on reproductive health services as well as treatment for malaria, tuberculosis, pneumonia, diarrhea, HIV and sexually transmitted infections. In addition, PSI supports the Sun Primary Health network of more than 2,000 village health workers.

Job description
• Conducting medical outreach activities effectively for provider behavior change to increase their productivity and to improve in Quality of clinical practice
• Regular monitoring/supportive visit to all assigned Sun clinics in assigned area to distribute social franchising products, to deliver new updated forms, to collect MCRs (including TB data collection), financial transaction of provider’s incentive payment, Clinic assistance fees and clients incentive (Providers’ incentive and demand side incentive)
• Ensure all social franchising products are fully stocked and keep under acceptable condition and good expired date
• Ensure to provide required IEC and promotional items to Sun provider
• Assist Sun providers to meet social franchising and clinical practice minimum criteria
• Conducting advocacy, area mapping, & clinic auditing for new recruitment for channels in the assigned territory
• Assist and organize in CME activities for Sun providers with collaboration of CME unit of National team- HQ
• Assisting in the organizing review meeting of health care providers in the assigned territory
• Take necessary action/solution concerning with issues on Sun doctors, TB laboratory, clinic assistant and other stake holders in assigned territory
• Responsible for disseminating technical updated and changes to Sun providers in assigned territory
• Advocacy and reporting of respective local authorities and health authorities as necessary
• Conducting periodic and regular monitoring on activities of their supervised filed coordinator
• Take/ arrange necessary capacity building of supervised staff and coach their activities as necessary
• Response back to MIS concerning with error on MCRs and TB report
• Tracking monthly achievements against targets
• Prepare and report monthly activities reports to Regional Manager and MIS

Desired Skills and Expertise
• Must be M.B.B.S degree holder;
• Must have at least one year of program management experience;
• Must have excellent communication skills, presentation skill and advocacy skills;
• Must have excellent skill in the use of computer software (Excel);
• Should be organized, systematic and dynamic, and must interact well with others.
