CDSG’s FMCG (Fast Moving Consumer Goods) division is led by Myanmar’s market leading coffee – Premier™ Coffee. Premier™ Coffee celebrated its 10th anniversary in 2015 and continues to be the preferred choice for Myanmar consumers.

In 2015, CDSG and Mitsubishi Corporation formed a joint venture company, named Lluvia Limited, to continue the success of the Premier brand in Myanmar and beyond.

In addition to Premier™, Lluvia also manufactures and distributes instant beverages under other strong in-house brands such as All Time™, Happy™ and Tea Master™.

The FMCG Division encompasses a number of products, including the best-selling coffee brand in the country.

One of Lluvia’s many strengths is in the company's vast and sophisticated distribution network. This network contains 31 Distribution Centers, 30 Dealers, 800 Wholesalers, and 2000 Sub-wholesalers. Leveraging on this network, Lluvia is able to reach 90% of the country, from the glittering supermarkets in Yangon to small, independent tea-houses in remote villages.


Job description
• Direct report to: Bruce Chin, Deputy Head of Marketing
• Identify new market opportunities within target Categories (RTD Milk & Juices, Snacks, Confectionery Noodles, Infant Nutrition, Malt drinks agencies)
• Conduct market research and feasibility studies including competitive intelligence and trend analysis
• Develop strong substantiated business cases (channel revenue potential, target plans …)
• Prospection & sourcing of new brands to secure new distribution agreements with brand owners
• Evaluation of market entry strategies & investment requirements (Capex / Marketing / HR…)
• Project management of day to day BD activities to ensure success at field level
• Conduct research on potential OEMs / Identification & liaison with prospects
• Ensure successful field deployment of New Business Development Initiatives
• Oversees operational budget & ensure flawless execution of commercial initiatives & plans
• Support overseas export opportunities by developing route to market strategies in identified markets
• Recruit, train and motivate staff to build world class capabilities in Category Development and associated Brand Building Activities

Desired Skills and Expertise
• Educated to degree level or equivalent qualification or experience
• Must have strong management skill, analytical skill, interpersonal skill.
• Must be self-motivated and able to work under pressure.
• Must be able to travel.
• Proficiency in English is preferable.

In 2015, CDSG and Mitsubishi Corporation formed a joint venture company, named Lluvia Limited, to continue the success of the Premier brand in Myanmar and beyond.
