A historic chapter of petroleum field development to enhance energy security of the nation was chronicled when PTTEP invested in Block F exploration in 1989 and subsequently invested in Yadana Project in 1995, PTTEP’s first step beyond the national frontier began with the petroleum exploration and production in the Republic of the Union of Myanmar.

To enhance capabilities and investment expansion, we established PTTEP International Limited (Yangon Branch) which was officially opened on 19 June 1996, marking another milestone in the field of petroleum development overseas.

Today, PTTEP Myanmar Asset has the capability to invest in concession areas where it is the operator and takes a non-operational role.

Currently, it has undertaken eight projects in both offshore and onshore.

It is now over two decades, since PTTEPI first set foot on Myanmar soil for energy, economic and society development. PTTEP Myanmar Asset is proud of the results of our commitment and dedication that can give Myanmar people jubilant smiles. Success today drives us forward to foster the corporate culture of development to be at the international level.
