Quality Assurance Engineer

• Ensure a quality management system is in place and implemented in the factory & products and processes comply with the relevant requirements of the quality management system.
• Create and maintain company quality documentation, such as quality manuals, quality procedures, etc.
• Lead the product and process audits of manufacturing operations.
• Ensure the equipment calibration and maintenance programs are executed per plan.
• Audit and ensure the quality staff training and skill levels are up to expectations.
• Apply relevant tools such as Lean Manufacturing to improve the efficiency of the manufacturing operations, specifically in areas involving quality functions.
• Preparation of the Specifications & the measuring gauges prior to the Job Change (Specification Sheet & Packaging Details, Gauge Readiness, Challenge Samples Readiness).
• Drive towards closure with the continual improvement activities to enhance the quality system, such as 5S, Kaizen.
• Drive product failure analysis, lead corrective and preventive action to respond to internal and external customer complaints.
• Coach and mentor junior employees; seek opportunities to grow leadership in others.
• A Team Player with Positive Approach and Can-Do Attitude.
• Other activities as deemed fit to support overall Quality Excellence programs.

• Good communication skill in English.
• Good knowledge of ISO 9001, ISO 14001, OHSAS 18001, FSSC 22000 and GMP will be an advantage for this role.
• Proficient with MS Office, MS Navision, SAP.
• In depth knowledge of product design, manufacturing procedure and process, tooling and quality processing.
• Good Personality, Good Hygiene & Grooming, Non-Smoker, Age should be 28-40
• Glass Production experience is more prferred
