Product Selection Supervisor

• Ensure at the beginning of the Shift, get the information of the previous results, any outstanding issues & any upcoming events. And ensure the right information has been passed to the reliever.
• Update the Shift attendance timely and report out any abnormality to the Shift Manager/Production Selection Lead.
• Always be in contact with the Hot End Staff if there is any quality issues. Also remain in contact with any false rejections from the Inspection Machines & re-set up/new set up of challenge samples.
• Ensure the defect sample of the non-confirming product is kept for the reference.
• Ensure the breaktime of the shift team is being controlled.
• Ensure that the QA/QC Staff doing the routine sample checking & challenge sample testing.
• Ensure the right packaging material is being used for the pack wares & an appropriate pallet id sticker is being pasted over the pallets.
• Ensure right cavity been rejected by the QC personnel & the right pallet has been put on hold.
• Management of the Rework Pallets and ensure good quality after the re-work.
• Ensure that the quality of glass ware produced meets or exceeds customer requirements by having spot checks.
• Ensure the documents for the product selection are in place & generate the reports of the Pallets Packed in the shift.
• Maintain safe work environment by following standards and procedures and complying with legal regulations & ensure the Hygiene & Cleanliness been maintained at the work place.
• A Team Player with Positive Approach and Can-Do Attitude.
• Other activities as deemed fit to support overall Quality Excellence programs.

• Minimum (7-8) years’ experience in quality department as QA Staff.
• Experience in Glass, Ceramic, Tiles, Pharma, Packaging Industry will be an added advantage.
• Good communication skill in English.
• Familiar with ISO 9001/14001/FSSC22000 systems.
• Familiar with basics of MS Office/MS Navision/SAP.
• Understanding of manufacturing methods and procedures.
• Glass production experience is more preferred
