Job description
• Main Job Description
The marketing manager is responsible for drawing the annual marketing plan according to business objectives of the company and leading the marketing team to implement the plan. As a marketing manager it is vital to carry out market research and analysis regularly to understand the brand’s potential in the market as well as the competitors’ dynamic. In addition, it is also important to understand the brand thoroughly including its brand story, brand vision and mission, brand position and brand product placement. From a bigger picture, at SEINN Jade the marketing manager is essentially the brand ambassador selling the brand’s concept. Overall, the marketing manager’s role is to support the sales team to reach the annual sales target through a combination of marketing strategies and spreading awareness of the brand name and image
• Duties of the Marketing Manager:
1. Assist the sales department in developing the overall market development strategy and promoting sales growth. For example, providing the sales department with the appropriate tools, marketing materials and presentations to meet their commercial objectives.
2. Responsible for formulating the company’s brand strategy, marketing strategy (online and offline) and product planning strategy. Develop short, medium and long-term goals for the brand.
3. Responsible for establishing the annual budget for the marketing department, completing the marketing tasks assigned by the company, organizing and leading the team to fulfill the objectives of work and coordinating various market issues.
4. Responsible for building the marketing department, setting up rules and regulations and over watching the day to day activities of the team.
5. Develop and implement the annual promotion calendar and strategy for SEINN Jade.
6. According to the market situation, organize market investigation, collect industry information, especially competitors’ product performance, price, means of competition intelligence. Make sure to collect, sort, analysis the information and write reports.
7. Responsible for analyzing the market research report to better understand the competitive environment and consumer trends. Make suggestions on how the brand can increase the market shares.
8. Responsible for co-planning all the events related to SEINN Jade including relaunching of the brand, new product launching, brand anniversary and so on.
9. Administer the company’s social media marketing and advertising. SEINN Jade will be on Facebook, Google, Instagram and Wechat. In additional, also responsible for managing SEINN Jade’s website.
10.Responsible for creating and managing content on all the platforms, setting a regular publishing/upload schedule.
11.Coordinate all public relations activities, leverage social media platform to engage with the audiences.
12.Manage media enquiries and interview requests and create content for press releases. 13.Formulate annual plan and budget for brand promotion through social media advertising. 14.Responsible for the completion and submission of four quarterly marketing and sales summary reports and an annual concluding marketing and sales report per year.
15.Assist the executive manager and carry out market research for new business idea in the jewelry industry.
16.Foster the growth of the marketing department by leveraging on personal connections and previous knowledge and work experience.
• Administrative work:
1. The department shall reflect the core values and corporate culture of the enterprise, and organize relevant personnel to spread the corporate culture of the company through various ways, and unify the thinking and behaviors of employees.
2. To put great emphasizes on team building and provide excellent support to the team in realizing the company’s objectives.
3. To organize the standardization of corporate documents and data storage.
4. Responsible for organizing regular meetings, formal or non-formal for the marketing department to ensure smooth communication within the department and the company.
5. Responsible for establishing communication channels within the department, find ways to keep up with the team’s opinion and ensure everyone on the team is treated fairly.
6. Responsible for following up on deadlines and making sure all tasks are done on time within the department and related departments.
7. Take charge in establishing a perfect appraisal system and fully exert the employees’ enthusiasm and creativity.

• Education and job qualifications
1. Education: Bachelor or Masters degree in marketing, advertising communication, economics or business
2. Work experience: Proven track record of success in senior marketing roles
3. Management experience: Over 4 years of experience as a management level candidate of the marketing department, and managed up to 15 people.
• Personal skills
1. Understanding analytical skills: can fully understand their superior work requirements and able to fully analyze the work scope. Able to make good judgment and handle unexpected situation encountered at work.
2. Business development: able to develop strategy to expand the market to reach the company’s annual sales goals.
3. Planning ability: able to arrange the work reasonably, ensure the completion of all work and organize large-scale activities and reception tasks.
4. Operation management ability: able to quickly familiarize with the day to day operation process of the company and lead the team to become more efficient.
5. Predictive-decision-making skills: able to analyze the sales, predict any major problems that may occur and suggestion precautionary measures to the company’s leader.
6. Innovative ability: able to take on challenges and push boundaries and grow with the company.
7. Crisis management ability: able to communicate, take on PR role for the company and solve any emergency issues that are encountered during work.
8. Language ability: can accurately convey the instructions of superior documents, fluent in oral expression and fluent in English, Chinese and Burmese; spoken and written.
9. Writing and reporting ability: able draft and approve the work document and able to make point clear through written work and PowerPoint presentation.
10.Communication skills: able to communicate well with all departments and customers at all level.
