အာရွပစိဖိတ္ေဒသအတြင္း အင္တာနက္ခ်ိတ္ဆက္မႈေကာင္းမြန္မႈရွိေစေရးအတြက္ ပင္လယ္ေအာက္ေကဘယ္လ္ႀကိဳးစနစ္တစ္ခုကို ၂၀၂၄ ခုႏွစ္တြင္ အၿပီးသြယ္တန္းႏိုင္ေရးအတြက္ ပါဝင္ေဆာင္႐ြက္သြားမည္ျဖစ္ေၾကာင္း Google ႏွင့္ Facebook တို႔မွ ေၾကျငာခ်က္ထုတ္ျပန္ခဲ့ပါတယ္။

ဒီ Apricot ဟုအမည္ရတဲ့ infrastructure project ဟာ ဂ်ပန္၊ စကၤာပူ၊ ထိုင္ဝမ္၊ Guam၊ ဖိလစ္ပိုင္ႏွင့္ အင္ဒိုနီးရွားႏိုင္ငံမ်ားရဲ႕ တိုးတက္လာတဲ့ Broadband လိုအပ္ခ်က္မ်ားကိုျဖည့္ဆည္းႏိုင္ရန္ႏွင့္ 5G ႀကိဳးမဲ့စနစ္ကြန္ယက္ကိုရရွိႏိုင္လာေစမွာျဖစ္ပါတယ္ ဟူ၍ Facebook မွ ေျပာဆိုခဲ့ပါတယ္။ ၿပီးခဲ့တဲ့မတ္လအတြင္း Facebook မွ စကၤာပူႏွင့္ U.S west coast ေဒသမ်ားကို ခ်ိတ္ဆက္ေပးမည့္ transpacific ပင္လယ္ေအာက္ ေကဘယ္လႀကိဳး ၂ ခုအေၾကာင္းကို ေၾကျငာမႈျပဳလုပ္ခဲ့ၿပီး Bifrost ႏွင့္ Echo ဟု အမည္ေပးထားခဲ့ကာ Google ကေတာ့ Echo ပေရာဂ်က္တြင္ ပါဝင္ေဆာင္႐ြက္သြားမွာျဖစ္ပါတယ္။

Echo ႏွင့္ Apricot ေကဘယ္လ္မ်ားဟာ complementary submarine system မ်ားျဖစ္ၾကၿပီး Google Cloud ႏွင့္ ကုမၸဏီရဲ႕ အျခားေသာ ဒီဂ်စ္တယ္နည္းပညာဝန္ေဆာင္မႈမ်ားကို ပိုမိုေကာင္းမြန္လာေစမွာျဖစ္ပါတယ္ဟူ၍ Google မွ blogpost တစ္ခုတြင္ေျပာၾကားခဲ့ပါတယ္။ အဆိုပါ အာရွပစိဖိတ္ေဒသကို ျဖတ္သန္း၍ သြယ္တန္းမည့္ Fiber-optic link အသစ္ဟာ ကနဦးဒီဇိုင္းမ်ားအရ တစ္စကၠန႔္လွ်င္ 190 terabit အထိရရွိႏိုင္မွာျဖစ္တယ္လို႔ Facebook ရဲ႕ ေျပာဆိုခ်က္အရ သိရွိရပါတယ္။
