Emulator ကြန္ယက္တစ္ခုဟာ EU နဲ႔ အေမရိကန္ဘဏ္မ်ားထံမွ ေငြေၾကးခိုးယူမႈမ်ားျပဳလုပ္လွ်က္ရွိ
IBM Trusteer မွ သုေသသီမ်ားရဲ႕အဆိုအရ - သူတို႔ဟာ mobile device emulator ကြန္ယက္တစ္ခုကို အသုံးျပဳၿပီး ရက္အနည္းငယ္အတြင္း ေဒၚလာသန္းေပါင္းမ်ားစြာကို online bank account မ်ားထံမွခိုးယူခဲ့တဲ့ အျဖစ္အပ်က္တစ္ခုကို ေဖာ္ထုတ္ႏိုင္ခဲ့တယ္လို႔ သိရွိရပါတယ္။
အျဖစ္အပ်က္တစ္ခုတြင္ Hacker မ်ားဟာ emulator ေပါင္း ၂၀ ခန႔္ကိုအသုံးျပဳၿပီး Customer မ်ားရဲ႕ mobile bank account မ်ားပါဝင္တဲ့ ဖုန္းေပါင္း ၁၆,၀၀၀ ခန႔္ကို သိမ္းယူခဲ့လိုက္ႏိုင္ၿပီး၊ အျခားေသာအျဖစ္အပ်က္တစ္ခုတြင္ေတာ့ Emulator တစ္ခုတည္းမွ device ေပါင္း ၈,၁၀၀ ခန႔္ရွိ mobile bank account မ်ားကို ရယူႏိုင္ခဲ့တယ္လို႔ ဆိုခဲ့ပါတယ္။
ၿပီးေနာက္မွာေတာ့ ခိုးယူသူမ်ားက username နဲ႔ password မ်ားကို emulator မ်ား ထည့္သြင္းထားတဲ့ ဖုန္းမ်ားအတြင္းရွိ Banking app မ်ားတြင္႐ိုက္ထည့္ၿပီးေနာက္ ေငြေၾကးလိမ္လည္၍ထုတ္ယူမႈမ်ားကို ျပဳလုပ္ခဲ့ၾကပါတယ္။ ထိုကဲ့သို႔ေသာတိုက္ခိုက္မႈမ်ားမွ ကာကြယ္ႏိုင္ရန္ ဘဏ္မ်ားတြင္ထားရွိထားတဲ့စနစ္မ်ားကို ေက်ာ္လႊားႏိုင္ရန္ Hacker မ်ားမွ ID တစ္ခုစီအတြက္ကိုက္ညီမႈရွိတဲ့ device identifier မ်ားကို အသုံးျပဳၿပီး GPS location မ်ားကိုလည္းအတုျပဳလုပ္ခဲ့ပါတယ္။ Device ID မ်ားကိုေတာ့ အေကာင့္ပိုင္ရွင္မ်ားရဲ႕ hack ျပဳလုပ္ခံရတဲ့ device မ်ားထံမွ ရယူခဲ့တာပဲျဖစ္ပါတယ္။ အဆိုပါတိုက္ခိုက္မႈကို ျပဳလုပ္ခဲ့သူမ်ားဟာ Multi-factor authentication မ်ားကိုလည္း SMS message မ်ားကိုဝင္ေရာက္ၾကည့္ရႈမႈ ျပဳလုပ္ႏိုင္တဲ့အတြက္ ေက်ာ္လႊားႏိုင္ခဲ့ၾကေၾကာင္းသိရွိရပါတယ္။
