Verizon ဟာ လက္ရွိအခ်ိန္တြင္ Customer မ်ားရဲ႕ အေသးစိတ္ကိုယ္ေရးအခ်က္အလက္မ်ားကို Verizon ရဲ႕ subscriber မ်ားအေနနဲ႕ သူတို႔ေနရာတြင္ Fios ၀န္ေဆာင္မႈမ်ားကို ရရွိႏိုင္သလားဆိုတာကို သိရွိႏိုင္ေစရန္ ျပဳလုပ္ထားတဲ့ Chat System မွတဆင့္ ေပါက္ၾကားမႈမ်ားကို ျပင္ဆင္ေနဆဲျဖစ္တယ္ဟူ၍ Arstechina.com မွ သတင္းတစ္ပုဒ္အရ သိရွိခဲ့ရပါတယ္။

Ars မွ ေတြ႕ရွိခဲ့တဲ့ အခ်ိဳ႕ေသာ Message မ်ားဟာ ဇြန္လကတည္းက ရွိေနခဲ့တာျဖစ္တဲ့အတြက္ Verizon ဟာ Customer မ်ားရဲ႕ ကိုယ္ေရးအခ်က္အလက္မ်ားကို လေပါင္းမ်ားစြာ သိရွိျခင္းမရွိပဲ ေပါက္ၾကားမႈမ်ား ျဖစ္ေပၚေနခဲ့တာပဲျဖစ္ပါတယ္။ အသံုးျပဳသူမ်ားက Verizon ရဲ႕ကိုယ္စားလွယ္တစ္ဦးနဲ႕ေျပာဆိုရန္အတြက္ click ျပဳလုပ္လိုက္တဲ့အခါမွာ အဆိုပါ အေသးစိတ္ ကိုယ္ေရးအခ်က္အလက္မ်ားဟာ အလိုအေလွ်ာက္ျပသေနခဲ့တာျဖစ္ပါတယ္။ အဆိုပါ Chat window ပြင့္သြားတာနဲ႕ တၿပိဳင္နက္ အျခား Customer မ်ားနဲ႕ ေျပာဆိုထားခဲ့တဲ့ conversation မ်ားကို အသံုးျပဳသူမ်ားမွ ေတြ႕ျမင္ႏိုင္ၿပီး အဆိုပါ transcript မ်ားတြင္ အမည္၊ ေနရပ္လိပ္စာ၊ ဖုန္းနံပါတ္၊ အေကာင့္နံပါတ္မ်ားနဲ႕ အျခားေသာအခ်က္အလက္မ်ား ပါ၀င္ေနပါတယ္။

၂၀၂၀ ခုႏွစ္၊ ႏို၀င္ဘာလ ၃၀ ရက္ေန႔တြင္ အဆိုပါ error အေၾကာင္းကို Ars မွ ေတြ႕ရွိခဲ့ၿပီး ခ်က္ျခင္း Verizon Representative မ်ားထံသို႔ အေၾကာင္းၾကားေပးခဲ့ၿပီးေနာက္ Verizon အေနနဲ႕ အဆိုပါ အားနည္းခ်က္ကို ျပင္ဆင္ႏိုင္ရန္အတြက္ ေစာင့္ဆိုင္းေပးခဲ့ေသာ္လည္း ေပါက္ၾကားမႈမ်ားဆက္လက္ျဖစ္ပြားေနတဲ့အတြက္ “အဆိုပါ၀န္ေဆာင္မႈအား အသံုးျပဳခဲ့သူမ်ားအေနနဲ႕ သူတို႔ရဲ႕ကိုယ္ေရးအခ်က္အလက္မ်ား ေပါက္ၾကားႏိုင္ေခ်ရွိေနျခင္းကို အသိေပးႏိုင္ရန္” ဟုဆိုကာ ယခုသတင္းအား ထုတ္ျပန္ေၾကျငာေပးခဲ့ျခင္းျဖစ္တယ္ဟူ၍ သိရွိခဲ့ရပါတယ္။
