Google updates their Maps to show how bad COVID-19 is in your area

Google က သင္တို႔အနီးအနားေနရာမ်ားရွိ COVID-19 ေရာဂါျပန႔္ပြားမႈမ်ားကို ျပသႏိုင္ရန္အတြက္ Google Maps ကို update ျပဳလုပ္ခဲ့

ဒီအပတ္ကစ၍ Google Maps app ဟာ လူ ၁၀၀၀၀၀ တိုင္းတြင္ COVID-19 ေရာဂါျပန႔္ပြားမႈအေျခအေနမ်ား ကို ၇ရက္စာ ပ်မ္းမွ်ထုတ္ျပန္ခ်က္အေနနဲ႔ ျပသေပးႏိုင္ေတာ့မွာျဖစ္ပါတယ္။ ေ႐ြးခ်ယ္လိုက္တဲ့ေနရာေတြမွာ ေရာဂါျပန႔္ပြားမႈေတြ တိုးပြားလာသလား၊ ဆုတ္ယုတ္လာသလားဆိုတာကိုလဲ အေရာင္ ၆မ်ိဳးနဲ႔ ခြဲျခားျပသေပး သြားမွာျဖစ္ၿပီး ေရာဂါျပန႔္ပြားမႈေတြ ဘယ္ေလာက္ျဖစ္ပြားေနသလဲဆိုတာကို သိရွိႏိုင္ေတာ့မွာပဲျဖစ္ပါတယ္။

Blog post တစ္ခုတြင္ Google က ဒီ tool ဟာ “ေနရာေဒသတစ္ခုခ်င္းစီအတြက္ COVID-19 အေၾကာင္း အေရးပါတဲ့ သတင္းအခ်က္အလက္ေတြကို ျပသေပးသြားႏိုင္မွာျဖစ္ၿပီး သင့္အေနနဲ႔ ဘယ္သြားရမယ္၊ ဘာေတြ လုပ္ရမယ္ဆိုတာေတြနဲ႔ ပတ္သက္ၿပီးဆုံးျဖတ္ႏိုင္ေစဖို႔အတြက္ ကူညီေပးႏိုင္ပါတယ္။” ဟူ၍ ေျပာဆိုခဲ့ပါတယ္။

Google ဟာ Johns Hopkins University, New York Times နဲ႔ Wikipedia ဆိုတဲ့ အရင္းအျမစ္ ၃ ခုခန႔္ထံမွ ဒီ အခ်က္အလက္မ်ားကို ဆြဲယူရရွိေနတာျဖစ္ၿပီး ထိုအရင္းအျမစ္မ်ားကလဲ သူတို႔ရဲ႕အခ်က္အလက္မ်ားကို ကမာၻ႔ က်န္းမာေရးအဖြဲ႕ႀကီးနဲ႔ အျခားေသာ ပုဂၢလိကပိုင္/ အစိုးရပိုင္ က်န္းမာေရးအဖြဲ႕မ်ားကေနရရွိေနတာျဖစ္ၿပီး ဒီသတင္းအခ်က္အလက္ကို Google Maps အသုံးျပဳႏိုင္တဲ့ ႏိုင္ငံေပါင္း ၂၂၀ ခန႔္တြင္ ရရွိႏိုင္ေနမွာပဲျဖစ္ပါတယ္။

အဆိုပါလုပ္ေဆာင္ခ်က္ဟာ မၾကာမွီတြင္ iOS နဲ႔ Android Google Maps ဗားရွင္းမ်ားတြင္ ရရွိလာႏိုင္မွာျဖစ္ၿပီး ထိုလုပ္ေဆာင္ခ်က္ကို ၾကည့္ရႈရန္အတြက္ app ကိုဖြင့္ၿပီးေနာက္ ညာဘက္အေပၚေထာင့္တြင္ရွိေသာ layers button (ေလးေထာင့္ပုံ ၂ခုထပ္ေနသည့္ ခလုတ္) ကိုႏွိပ္ၿပီးေနာက္ “COVID-19 info” ဟူသည့္ ခလုပ္ကို ေ႐ြးခ်ယ္ေပးလိုက္႐ုံပါပဲ။ ထိုသို႔ျပဳလုပ္လိုက္ပါက သင့္အေနနဲ႔ အေရာင္မ်ားနဲ႔ သတ္မွတ္ေဖာ္ျပထားတဲ့ COVID-19 ျပန႔္ပြားမႈအေျခအေနျပ ေျမပုံကို ေတြ႕ျမင္ႏိုင္မွာပဲျဖစ္ပါတယ္။
