Microsoft warns digital currency owners about a new malware

Microsoft က digital currency ပိုင္ဆိုင္ထားသူမ်ားကို malware အသစ္တစ္ခုအားသတိထားရန္ အသိေပးခ်က္တစ္ရပ္ထုတ္ျပန္ခဲ့

Microsoft Security Intelligence (MSI) မွ cryptocurrency ပိုင္ဆိုင္ထားသူမ်ားတျဖစ္လဲ Windows အသုံးျပဳသူမ်ားကို ၿပီးခဲ့တဲ့အပတ္အတြင္းက Malware အသစ္တစ္ခုေၾကာင့္ သူတို႔ရဲ႕ပိုင္ဆိုင္မႈမ်ားဆုံးရႈံးရျခင္း မျဖစ္ရေအာင္ သတိထားႏိုင္ဖို႔အတြက္ သတိေပးခ်က္တစ္ရပ္ကို twitter မွတဆင့္ tweet လုပ္ၿပီး ထုတ္ျပန္ေပးခဲ့ပါတယ္။

အဆိုပါ malware အသစ္ကို Anubis လို႔ေခၚတြင္ၿပီး Loki malware မွ ခြဲထြက္လာတဲ့ code ကိုအသုံးျပဳထားသည့္ပုံစံရွိပါတယ္။ အဆိုပါ malware က crypto wallet credentials မ်ား, credit card details မ်ားႏွင့္ အျခားေသာ အေရးႀကီးသည့္/ တန္ဖိုးရွိသည့္ အခ်က္အလက္မ်ားကို Windows အသုံးျပဳသူ မ်ားထံမွ ခိုးယူႏိုင္စြမ္းရွိေနပါတယ္။

MSI ရဲ႕အဆိုအရ သူတို႔က အဆိုပါ malware ကို ဂြၽန္လခန႔္က စတင္ေတြ႕ရွိခဲ့တာျဖစ္ၿပီး အဆိုပါ malware ကို တစ္စုံတစ္ေယာက္ကထိန္းခ်ဳပ္ေနႏိုင္တာကိုလဲေတြ႕ရွိခဲ့ရပါတယ္။ လက္ရွိအခ်ိန္အထိတြင္ေတာ့ အဆိုပါ malware ကို download URL မ်ားနဲ႔ C2 server မ်ား အနည္းအက်ဥ္းတြင္သာေတြ႕ရွိရပါေသးတယ္။

အခ်ိဳ႕ေသာ website မ်ားက အသုံးျပဳသူမ်ားကိုလွည့္စားၿပီး Anubis ကို download ျပဳလုပ္ခိုင္းကာ ထို႔ေနာက္တြင္ေတာ့ အဆိုပါ malware က အခ်က္အလက္မ်ားကို ခိုးယူၿပီး အဆိုပါအခ်က္အလက္မ်ားကို command and control server မ်ားသို႔ HTTP POST command ကိုအသုံးျပဳၿပီးေပးပို႔ေနတာျဖစ္ပါတယ္။

MSI ကေတာ့ သူတို႔က အဆိုပါ malware ကိုေစာင့္ၾကည့္သြားမွာျဖစ္တယ္လို႔ေျပာၾကားသြားခဲ့ၿပီး Cybersecurity ကြၽမ္းက်င္သူမ်ားကေတာ့ အဆိုပါ malware ကို download ျပဳလုပ္မိျခင္းမွ ေရွာင္ၾကဥ္ရန္တစ္ခုတည္းေသာလုပ္စရာကေတာ့ သံသယျဖစ္ဖြယ္ email မ်ားနဲ႔ link မ်ားကို သြားမႏွိပ္ဖို႔ပဲျဖစ္တယ္လို႔ အႀကဳံျပဳသြားခဲ့ပါတယ္။ ဘာေၾကာင့္လဲဆိုေတာ့ အဆိုပါ malware ရဲ႕ မူရင္း code ျဖစ္တဲ့ Loki ဟာ social engineering နည္းစနစ္မ်ားကိုအသုံးခ်ၿပီး သူတို႔ရဲ႕သားေကာင္ကိုပစ္မွတ္ထားႏိုင္ၿပီး email ကတဆင့္ attachment မ်ားကိုေပးပို႔ႏိုင္ကာ အဆိုပါ email မ်ားကို click တစ္ခ်က္ျပဳလုပ္လိုက္တာနဲ႔ malware ကို install ျပဳလုပ္ၿပီးသားျဖစ္သြားမွာျဖစ္တဲ့အတြက္ပဲျဖစ္ပါေတာ့တယ္။
