ေထာင္ေပါင္းမ်ားစြာေသာ Amazon ဝန္ထမ္းမ်ားက Amazon ကို paid time off မ်ားေပးရန္အတြက္ လက္မွတ္ထိုးကာ ေတာင္းဆိုခဲ့ၾက။ 

CNN Business ရဲ႕ သတင္းမ်ားအရ ေထာင္ေပါင္းမ်ားစြာေသာ Amazon ရဲ႕ tech ဝန္ထမ္းမ်ားဟာ petition တစ္ခုကို လက္မွတ္ထိုးကာ မဲေပးခဲ့ၾကၿပီး ဝန္ထမ္းမ်ားအားလုံးအတြက္ paid time off ေပးဖို႔ ေတာင္းဆိုခဲ့ၾကတယ္လို႔ သိရွိခဲ့ရပါတယ္။ 

Amazon ဟာ သူတို႔ရဲ႕ corporate နဲ႔ warehouse ဝန္ထမ္းမ်ားအျပင္ Amazon မွ ပိုင္ဆိုင္ထားတဲ့ Whole Food ရဲ႕ ဝန္ထမ္းမ်ားအပါအဝင္ အေမရိကန္ႏိုင္ငံအတြင္း ဝန္ထမ္းေပါင္း ၁.၃သန္းခန႔္ကို ခန႔္အပ္ထားလွ်က္ရွိကာ ႏိုင္ငံအတြက္ ဒုတိယဝန္ထမ္းအမ်ားဆုံးခန႔္အပ္ထားႏိုင္တဲ့ ပုဂၢလိက ကုမၸဏီတစ္ခုလည္း ျဖစ္ပါတယ္။ NBC news မွ ပထမဦးဆုံးသတင္းထုတ္ျပန္ေပးခဲ့တဲ့ အဆိုပါ petition တစ္ခုတြင္ေတာ့ ဝန္ထမ္းမ်ားအားလုံးအေနနဲ႔ ေ႐ြးေကာက္ပြဲေန႔မတိုင္မွီတြင္ မဲေပးေရးနဲ႔သက္ဆိုင္ေသာ လုပ္စရာရွိသည့္အရာမ်ားကို လုပ္ေဆာင္ႏိုင္ရန္အတြက္ ၈နာရီၾကာ paid time off ကို ဝန္ထမ္းမ်ားအားလုံး အတြက္ေတာင္းဆိုေပးခဲ့တာျဖစ္ပါတယ္။
